Everyone knows what this place is – a dangerous dungeon with four factions under gods fighting against each other for the godsword, a weapon capable of killing gods! (Not really.) Each faction – Bandos, Armadyl, Saradomin, and Zamorak – has its own boss that drops some juicy loot, not to mention some good XP for post-99 combat training!
To get there, there’s many options, but at bare minimum you need 15 Agility, partial completion of Troll Stronghold, and either 60 Agility or Strength. Go to Trollheim by climbing up through the mountain, and head north until you encounter a big rock. You can choose to squeeze past it (Agility) or push it aside (Strength).
On the other hand, you can use Trollheim Teleport or God Wars Dungeon Teleport to cut travel times down extremely quickly, coming with quest requirements to unlock.
Once you’re inside the dungeon, immediately head out to your chosen faction. The following directions are:
– Bandos: West
– Zamorak: North
– Saradomin: East
– Armadyl: South
When you’re inside, every monster will be permanently aggressive, and it can kill unprepared lower-levels. To remove the aggression, you must equip a god item that corresponds with the faction in mind. For example, if you want to stop Zamorakian aggressiveness, equip a Zamorak arrow.
Common items to negate aggressiveness are:
– Bandos: Warpriest, Bandos armor, Bandos stole/cloak
– Zamorak: Zamorak arrow
– Saradomin: Saradomin arrow
– Armadyl: Warpriest, Armadyl armor, Armadyl stole/cloak
Note that Nex armor, Zaryte bow, Virtus wand/book, and Ascension crossbows can completely negate all aggressiveness.
